Festive Floral

Events like weddings are a great excuse to shop for a fun new dress, or pull out an old favorite from the closet.  I am always looking for a good deal, and when I find something I love, at a great price, I usually buy and save for the right festivity.  I purchased this color blocked floral print Diane Von Furstenberg dress on super sale last fall.  It has been hiding in my closet to be pulled out for the perfect occasion, like a springtime coastal Florida wedding!

Florida Pink

We headed to Florida over the weekend for a friend's wedding.  When I pack a bag for a beach vacation, I throw in a few swim suits and sundresses and am good to go!  It is so nice not to worry about layers and be able to wear sandals all weekend.  For the first event of the weekend, I dressed up my normal go to beach attire with a fun pink bejeweled cocktail dress.

Springtime Essentials : Part Three

For my third and final look, I paired my springtime essentials (seen HERE) with a basic baseball tee and a playful paillette covered mini.   I decided to mix up an otherwise super casual outfit with a lot of shimmer.  I constantly look for key pieces that can be dressed up or down, like this J. Crew collection skirt.  And, of course it is always fun to add a little bit of sparkle in your step!

Springtime Essentials : Part Two

Spring is without a doubt my favorite time of year.   I definitely appreciate the change in weather,  but mostly I get excited to dig into my closet and pull out bright colors and pretty floral prints.  I am a big fan of floral prints.  Whether they are bright and bold or soft and muted, they scream spring is here!  For my second outfit, I paired my go to springtime essentials (seen HERE) with another perfect piece for the spring season, a floral maxi dress.

Spring Essentials : Part One

Spring is officially here!  The weather has been amazing in SF for the past couple of weeks.  The change of season got me thinking about the perfect accessories for springtime.  I came up with three essentials I currently have on repeat.  Over the next week I will be sharing various outfits accessorized with my three springtime essentials....

1. A lightweight jacket like THIS ONE from Gap
2. A pair of fun strappy sandals like THESE or THESE
3. A neutral colored bag.  Size depends on preference.  I constantly carry THIS clutch by Clare Vivier, and also have my eye on THIS cross body bag by Cambridge Satchel.

Monday Blues

Monochromatic looks are an easy go to.  Especially when wearing neutrals like beige or black.  But they can also work in brighter colors.  This Monday I went for a combination of blues, mixing a mini floral print with a bold stripe.
