Sunny Day Dress

With the arrival of Memorial Day weekend, it officially feels like summer is upon us.  When I think of perfect dresses for summertime I think of the LWD.  I bought this cute little white sundress a few summers ago during my J. Crew days in NYC.  It was perfect with a pair of sandals for the hot Manhattan summer months.  Of course in SF it is a different story, and I am always prepared for the wind and fog to roll in with a few extra layers, like a light jacket and fun scarf.

I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and the official kickoff to summertime!!!

Wet Hair Don't Care

Usually for my blog posts I tend to make my hair look nice and presentable.  If I don't have time to actually do my hair, I pull it back in a low or high bun.  But for this blog post I figured why not rock my slightly wet, air drying, unruly hair.  Which in reality, is what my hair looks like a lot of the time these days.  With a very busy work schedule and longer days, I have been trying to get my daily workouts in in the morning and going straight to work.  Which means wet hair. So I guess it is time to embrace it on the blog as well!  It definitely works with my casual get up.  I recently bought this Sincerely Jules sweatshirt and literally wear it all of the time.  It is so comfy and cute!  And I love that the icons are a sweet ode to NYC!

Pant Party

Sometimes, don't you wish you could roll out of bed and wear your pajamas all day?  I know I do. Maybe that is why I have been stocking up on pajama like silk pants.  They are comfortable and chic at the same time.  My favorite combination!  They are also easy to dress up or down.  Another favorite combination of mine.  I wore these Cynthia Vincent pants to the office and then dinner out a couple of days ago and got so many compliments!  Even though they are a little loud, they are fun and easy to wear!

Lighten Up

Recently I have been looking for fun and comfortable tops that are easy to wear with everything.  As someone who generally gravitates towards comfort and likes oversized clothes,  I have been drawn to the cute fashion sweatshirts that are popping up these days.  I found this fun cropped sweatshirt on Shopbop and had to have it!  I also love that the hem has an element of surprise.  I am a big fan of pieces with unexpected details.  I find myself wanting to wear it all of the time.  Either dressed up with a pretty skirt and heels or dressed down with boyfriend jeans and sneakers.  It's always nice to find a new favorite top that I want to rotate through my closet on repeat!
