Chinati Foundation

I seriously can't believe it has taken me so long to post more pictures from our road trip back in February.  It was such an amazing week exploring new places.  One place we are so glad we visited is the Chinati Foundation in Marfa Texas.  An impression I got of Marfa is one reason it became what it is today, is due to Donald Judd and the art funding he brought to this tiny little town in west Texas.  We headed to this museum on our way out of Marfa, and I have to say it was the prefect last stop!  It's hard to describe, but for me, it really added to the essence of the magical and slightly surreal place that Marfa is.

I realize the outfit I am wearing in this post is more cold wear appropriate.  But, as we head back into Fall my extremely delayed post timing actually works!  Layering a cute hoodie with a more structured coat is something I will continue to do this Fall/Winter season.  It feels on trend while being extremely comfortable.  It was perfect for this day of our trip, as much of it was spent in the car on the road from Texas to Arizona.  And white high-top sneakers are really a year round shoe choice for me living in California.  These Superga sneakers are a serious go to, I was wearing them on our trip back in February and am actually wearing them today!
